A mixture of wheat and rye flours, long fermented over a 48 hour period. It has a mild sour flavour which makes great toast and is delicious with pate, hams and cheese. Like a good wine, the flavour improves as it ages!

Best sourdough supplier!

I converted to sourdough sometime ago and have struggled to find a good supplier....until I found Hambletons. There is always a fabulous selection available and you can even place an order for collection on a day that suits you. We love the sourdough so much, we often take a loaf away with us when we travel. Keep baking x
