Its Rhubarb season! At Hambleton Bakery we are celebrating with the launch of our limited edition Rhubarb and Custard Tart...
At Hambleton we are constantly searching for the best flour for our bread in order to maximise flavour; recently we added Wildfarmed grain into the mix - this light & nutty wheat is a great addition to our Sourdoughs, which already boast rye from Whatton Farm & Marriages flour from the 200 year old stoneground master millers.
Did you know that 70% of all our ingredients come from local suppliers...we believe that supporting our wonderful local producers is an important way of supporting the local economy, but also considering the environment; buying local means that the delivery distance is significantly reduced.
We have lots of wonderful sweet treats for both Mother Day and Easter on the way this month; we are starting with some of these delicious chocolate dipped Shortbreads; as well as flower topped mini Bakewell Tarts As Easter is not far behind we also have Hot Cross Buns coming...
