So sorry that you have had this issue with our bread, but we would like to reassure you that all our bread is made at Hooby and is made fresh every day.
Our head baker says that what you describe sounds like a baking error; probably over proved and collapsed making it dense and doughy. He has spoken to the bakers, and due to the sudden very hot weather this has affected the prove on the white sourdough. That said the bakers shouldn't have sent them to the shops in that condition, for which we apologise. Our team at Exton have been briefed to organise your compimentary order when you next visit.
